This building has been constructed in a mountainous area in the south of the holy city of Mashhad.

In mountainous areas, the amount of subsurface runoff can increase significantly during the rainy season, and this should be considered in designing an efficient drainage system. Therefore, design experts have considered a drainage system using a dimple sheet in the walls to ensure the control and guidance of this seasonal runoff and prevent the accumulation of water behind the sealing layers.

In addition, to prevent the ducts of the dimple sheet from filling, they have used a layer of geotextile as a filter that prevents the passage of sand and other materials.
